About KTA
We’re absolutely thrilled to be a part of the mission of the Klamath Trails Alliance!
What is the Klamath Trails Alliance?
Founded in 2011 as a 501c3 nonprofit, KTA was organized to build, maintain and promote non motorized recreational trails in and around Klamath County.
We are an all volunteer, membership based trail club comprised of mountain bikers, trail runners, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Areas of work
- We provide stewardship activities ranging from trail maintenance, clearing downfall, trail planning, trail funding and trail building.
- We oversee over 115 miles of trails.
- We work cooperatively with the City of Klamath Falls (Moore Mountain), Klamath County (Spence Mountain), National Forest Service (High Lakes) as well as other agencies and landowners to sustainably manage trail systems on their property.
- We provide excellent GIS based trail maps of local trails that we steward.
- We preform outreach activities to partner with other organizations to improve our community.
- We raise funds to support all of the above.
