The Moore Mountain trails are an urban trail system encompassing Moore Park, City owned land, private property and a trail easement extending east to Buck Ridge near the Running Y Resort.
The multi-use trail system is open year around to all non-motorized user groups. Common activities include walking, hiking, mountain biking and trail running during the spring, summer and fall.
Expansive views of Upper Klamath Lake are complimented by the Cascade peaks in the view sheds.
Hone your skills in the new Moore Park Bike Skills Area featuring progressive trails, drops, jumps and a family zone for the little ones and those new to mountain biking.

TRAIL ETIQUETTE
- Respect Wildlife: Responsible viewing is better for wildlife and better for you! Watch but don’t intrude.
- Etiquette: WHEELS YIELD TO HEELS. Bikes Yield to Foot Traffic. Downhill Yields to Uphill.
- Share the Trail: Take care while passing others, slow down on crowded trails and be prepared to stop. Be Kind to one another, it’s a beautiful day!
- Pets: Clean-up after and be in control of your pets at all times.
- Environment: PROTECT IT! Stick to the trail, carving shortcuts and skidding tires will damage the ecosystem. Tread lightly, ride dirt trails not muddy trails.
- Closed Trails: These are closed for your safety and the protection of the environment.
- Trash: Leave no trace, pack out your litter!
